11-year-old & Murder Charge, An 11-year-old faces murder charges in the death of his brother, a 6-year-old boy who died of a gunshot wound, according to the indystar.com. According to the Morgan County Prosecutor Steve Sonnega, the youngest person to face charges of murder from 1920 is also being charged with criminal recklessness.
The names of the children had been retained because of their age, the report says, but later news sources identified the victim as Andrew Fry, six years. Police were called by the age of 11 at approximately 18:15 on Thursday, June 30, after having contacted 911 to say her brother had been shot.
Authorities found the 6-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to the head lying on a bed in the house where he lived with his mother. She was not home at the time of the incident.
