Amish, AP – Marquette County authorities say an Amish boy of 10 years died after a horse kicked him in the abdomen during the weekend.
Sheriff Kim Gaffney says deputies responded to a 911 call Sunday night reporting a person in medical difficulties.
A deputy tried to perform CPR on the child, who was taken to a hospital where he died Portage.
The researchers say that the Sheriff of the child was expelled on Saturday, but showed no signs of damage severe enough to cause the family business.
The next day his condition worsened and his parents sought help from a neighbor.
WISC-TV Gaffney says his office is sending information to prosecutor’s office, but not to recommend charges. He says the incident was “purely tragic” and no evidence of negligence or wrongdoing.
